Oracle Expands Agentic AI Toolkit for CFOs
Oracle announced on Wednesday the expansion of its AI agent portfolio for enterprise finance professionals, adding tools such as accounts payable. These agents are embedded in the Fusion Cloud Applications suite and were unveiled at the 2025 AI World Conference in Las Vegas. Oracle executives stated that this move will usher finance into a new era driven by intelligent agents.

Oracle said its new "Accounts Payable Agent" is designed to ease the workload of accounts payable teams. Among other steps, the tool can capture invoices from various locations, including emails and PDFs; match them against purchase orders and receiving documents; and route them through approval and payment processes.
The company also introduced a new "Ledger Agent" for accountants and a "Planning Agent" for financial planning and analysis teams.
