Adobe has been committed to integrating AI across its entire product portfolio.
Prior to the latest announcement, the company reported its fiscal 2025 third-quarter financial results for the period ending August 29, which beat market expectations and led to a raise in its full-year guidance.
According to the earnings report released on September 11, the software vendor generated revenue of $5.99 billion in the quarter,achieving revenue of $5.99 billionup 11% year-over-year; net income rose to $1.77 billion from $1.68 billion in the same period last year.
Adobe raised its full-year revenue guidance from the previous range of $23.50 billion to $23.60 billion to a new range of $23.65 billion to $23.70 billion.
Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said during the earnings call at that time,stating"AI represents a platform-level technological shift, bringing Adobe its biggest opportunity in decades."
CFO Daniel Durn said on the call that "AI-first products" such as Firefly, Acrobat AI Assistant, and GenStudio have already achieved the company's year-end target for annual recurring revenue (ARR) ahead of schedule, exceeding $250 million.

In a client research note following Adobe's third-quarter earnings, JP Morgan analysts said the company appears to be showing "early signs of progress in AI initiatives." However, they also noted that investors "may still hold back some enthusiasm until these advances translate into meaningful contributions to overall revenue growth."
