The company aims to provide a competitive advantage to businesses expanding from small to mid-market by integrating data, AI, and human expertise, according to CEO Sasan Goodarzi.

Growing and mid-market businesses often face a common obstacle: a lack of timely, actionable insights, making it difficult to scale confidently. Intuit's latest AI-driven platform aims to address this, helping business leaders and accounting firms turn data chaos into actionable insights.

"AI is driving the biggest technological disruption in decades, even centuries, fundamentally changing how businesses operate," said Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi, explaining the company's vision to leverage data, AI, and human insights to provide a competitive advantage to every business using its platform.

Goodarzi unveiled the new "intelligent system" at Intuit Connect, the company's event for multi-service accounting firms, in October, designed to support real-time decision-making. Most growing businesses seek more than just ways to automate daily tasks; as operations become increasingly complex, they need to strengthen financial decision-making capabilities.

With Intuit's integrated platform, new and enhanced AI agents work alongside existing capabilities across various business functions to enable cross-departmental coordination. For example, a payroll agent can aggregate employee hours, detect anomalies, and prepare payroll drafts for approval; a sales tax agent can flag potential compliance issues before filing; and accounting and project management agents track performance metrics and provide recommendations based on real-time data.

Scaling businesses cannot afford blind spots, so real-time insights across operations are critical. Users can integrate data across entities, including third-party sources, and gain valuable insights and forecasts without manually extracting information from various tools and systems. According to Intuit, this approach reduces administrative work and increases visibility, enabling businesses to respond more quickly to changing conditions.

At the core of these new capabilities isIntuit Enterprise Suite, an AI-native ERP solution for mid-market businesses. It centralizes financial and operational data across multiple entities, providing CFOs and financial controllers with a single dashboard to manage multiple functions across the business.

Goodarzi said Intuit's goal is to deliver enterprise-grade automation in a way that is accessible to companies outgrowing traditional small business software. Compared to traditional ERP solutions that can be slow and costly to implement, Intuit Enterprise Suite is designed to be deployed and learned quickly and easily, and to scale cost-effectively.

By integrating AI agents and business tools into a single platform, Intuit aims to help businesses act based on intelligence rather than intuition. Intuit reports that its virtual team of AI agents can save businesses up to 12 hours per month by automating data entry and reconciliation processes. For CFOs and financial controllers managing growing operations, this time can be redirected toward scenario planning, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives.

Also launched at Intuit Connect wasIntuit Accountant Suite, designed for accounting firms seeking to scale their operations. Built with input from accountants, the suite integrates client management, business planning, service delivery, collaboration, and team management. According to the2025 Intuit QuickBooks Accountant Technology Survey, 81% of respondents said AI increased productivity, and 89% said better technology stack integration freed up time for strategic advisory work. With the Accountant Suite, firms can streamline routine tasks, allowing them to focus on more profitable client work.

"[It] empowers firms to manage clients and teams more effectively, freeing up time for them to deliver higher-value advisory services and grow their own businesses," said Simon Williams, Vice President of Accountant Partnerhips & Engagement at Intuit.

Even as technology handles much of the heavy lifting, human expertise remains essential to users. Across the platform, businesses can continue to connect with their accountants as well as Intuit experts, who provide guidance supported by AI-driven workflows and Intuit's secure data.

Intuit's approach reflects a broader trend toward connected, insight-driven operations. For growing businesses, AI is a valuable tool for enhancing the accuracy and speed of decision-making. With the expansion of Intuit Enterprise Suite capabilities and the launch of Intuit Accountant Suite, mid-market businesses, their CFOs, and accounting firms now have access to intelligence and automation historically reserved for large enterprises, providing leaders with the clarity and confidence to act quickly.
