BBi and CFMA Form Strategic Partnership to Expand Construction Technology Education and Resource Access
Big Blue Innovations (BBi) and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) announced a new strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to construction technology education and resources. Building on BBi's successful ERP roundtable experience over the past three years, the two organizations will jointly launch a software roundtable series, offering construction professionals a non-sales environment for direct dialogue with software vendors. This collaboration will combine the expertise of both institutions to provide objective, credible technology guidance to CFMA members and the broader industry.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Big Blue Innovations (BBi) and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) recently announced a new strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to construction technology education and resources.
Interest in technology adoption within the construction industry continues to grow, driven primarily by labor constraints, project complexity, supply chain challenges, and operational efficiency needs. In this context, many companies are investing more time and money in technology solutions. However, finding objective, credible, and industry-specific reference materials and guidance remains challenging. BBi and CFMA have decided to join forces to address this issue for the benefit of CFMA members, BBi clients, and the industry as a whole.
According to Jay Snyder, President of BBi, Big Blue Innovations has provided resources and consulting to the CFMA community for years and has found a strong alignment with the association's mission of serving the construction industry. "This is a unique opportunity to combine the distinct expertise of two highly respected and trusted organizations to expand and enhance technology education and research at a critical time for construction firms. This partnership integrates a wealth of resources and provides access to information that would otherwise be extremely difficult to obtain."
For the past three years, BBi has hosted ERP roundtables aimed at supporting more informed technology discussions. The BBi-CFMA partnership will build on the success of this program by co-hosting software roundtables, providing construction professionals with opportunities to continuously explore industry-specific software solutions. These sessions offer design and construction professionals a platform to interact directly with software vendors in a non-sales environment, with discussion topics and demonstration themes determined by attendee input. The roundtables focus on specific software products, beginning with a brief company introduction followed by demonstrations of features that attendees deem important. The goal is to support peer learning and provide a structured forum for technology conversations.
"CFMA is dedicated to providing construction financial professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to lead in an increasingly complex and technology-driven industry," said Neil Shah, President and CEO of CFMA. "Through this partnership with Big Blue Innovations, we are creating spaces for objective, peer-driven dialogue around construction technology, helping CFMA members and the broader industry make more informed decisions that drive smarter, more efficient outcomes."
Software roundtables are held virtually every two to three weeks. Construction professionals, financial managers, and technology stakeholders are all invited to attend. For more information or to register for upcoming sessions, visit:https://cfma.org/software_roundtables。
Additional joint initiatives between CFMA and BBi will be announced and launched in the coming months.
