Santa Clara, California — Legion Technologies, a workforce management (WFM) innovation enterprise, announced on November 19, 2024, that it has expanded its partnership with Vail Resorts, a leading global mountain resort company. During the past winter operating season, mountain resort leaders, managers, and frontline employees at Vail Resorts have fully adopted the technology and data of the Legion WFM platform to optimize staffing across resorts, thereby enhancing guest service, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

Vail Resorts initially piloted Legion WFM's scheduling capabilities at its two largest mountain resorts—Whistler Blackcomb and Park City Mountain. After validation in the previous operating season, Vail Resorts has expanded the capabilities to all 37 of its resorts across the United States and Canada.

"As an experience company, we are always seeking to invest in innovative technology to enhance not only the guest experience but also the experience of our team members," said Bill Rock, President of Vail Resorts' Mountain Division. "Our leadership and employees have previously provided feedback that they wanted a better experience to have clearer visibility and flexibility when scheduling, placing employees in the roles and shifts that most impact the guest experience. Legion's workforce management tools help us schedule employees more efficiently, which is crucial given the complexity of our mountain resort operations."

"Vail Resorts' operations are highly complex, from retail and rental businesses to staffing for lifts and restaurants, to scheduling for hospitality teams, requiring intuitive and flexible scheduling software to optimize workforce operations. With Legion's expertise and employee-centric platform, we help ensure they always have the right people in the right place at the right time to meet demand while maximizing employee engagement," said Sanish Mondkar, CEO and founder of Legion Technologies.

The expansion of the Vail Resorts partnership marks another milestone in a significant year for Legion. Earlier this year, the AI Breakthrough Awards named Legion WFM "Best AI Workforce Management Solution" for the second consecutive year. Additionally, the company ranked 26th on Inc. magazine's list of the fastest-growing private companies in the Pacific region and was included in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 list for the United States.
